Wellington Hits 20,000x Twice to Win MWK 22,131,065
“I generally just like to place bets on sports games but lately I have been trying to play other things and this time playing Navigator was just my lucky day.”
“Lucky day” is putting it mildly. His MWK 500 Navigator bet hit 21,800.77x, returning MWK 10,900,385. A second MWK 500 bet on the same game hit 22,461.36x, adding another MWK 11,230,680 for a combined MWK 22,131,065.
“I think the best way to describe what I felt was shock.”
He showed the win to a friend from work.
“He asked to double and triple check, we just both really couldn't believe it.”
Wellington’s Plans for the Future
Wellington has not rushed to spend the money.
“Not yet, but it’s come at the right time”.
He’s always wanted to return to village life.
“It'll go a long way in helping to finish building my house at the village.”
Wellington’s own view on luck feels particularly appropriate in hindsight:
“Luck cannot be planned and you cannot choose when it falls on you.”
On this occasion, it appeared to fall twice.
